Initial Columbine shooting suspects

Within minutes of the first shot fired at Columbine, Law Enforcement Officers had been given the names of many possible suspects, including the names Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. Not many people believed that only two boys could be involved in this incident and so fingers were pointed at many of Eric and Dylan’s friends as co-conspirators as well as third shooters.

Some of the suspects named by students, parents, teachers and law enforcement personnel were:

  • Chris Morris (Not Guilty)
  • Nate Dykeman (Not Guilty)
  • Robert Perry (Not Guilty)
  • Brooks Brown (Not Guilty)

One of the most infamous pictures from April 20th is of Chris Morris being handcuffed in the parking lot wearing a black South Park T-Shirt.

In order to respect the privacy of the individuals who were named as suspects, their photos will not be publicly posted.

Did you know?

All of Eric and Dylan’s friends were treated horribly after the shooting, and most of them were asked by the administration not to return to the school to finish the year.

Not long after the shooting, their friend from video class – Eric Veik – was expelled from Columbine for threatening to finish the job.
