Who did Eric and Dylan target at Columbine?

Eric and Dylan wanted to get revenge against their school and the cops. It didn’t matter who it was that they shot that day because their targets were humans. They did not “target” Christians and blacks. If Christians were their target, Dylan would have never let Valeen Schnurr go after confessing her faith in God!

It is true that they shot off a lot of racial slurs, and talked about hating different races than their own; however in those same sentences are words of hatred against white “pieces of shit” and “trailor trash” including a line from Eric’s journal where he said, “we beat the fuck out of the damn zipperheads and nazis” and wrote about how great it was that the US took over Germany. These comments are overlooked because Eric and Dylan were “white” skinned. Had Eric been black, and called someone “white trash,” it would be seen as a racist comment. But they were not racists. They were equal opportunity haters. They hated everyone. When they wanted to piss someone off, or humiliate them, they would use racial slurs.

Eric and Dylan did not seek out Christians, but rather their attention was instantly drawn to one girl who was praying to God. They only taunted one girl – Valeen Schnurr – for believing in God and she was allowed to live. There is no evidence that they targeted any specific group of people or belief.

Did you know?

If they targeted Christians they would have killed Valeen Schnurr after she confessed her faith in God at gunpoint. Instead, Dylan said, “what for?” and walked away from her. Valeen was injured but only prior to being questioned about her faith. In other words, even after her faithful confession she was not harmed – she was left alone.
