How Do We Find The Truth?
Remember, this note was not found on Eric’s websites anywhere during the investigation.
The man who sent the letter to police did so on April 22nd. It is likely that this man came across a hoax website, as there were so many of them that sprang up within the first few days of the shooting. Another possibility is that this person wanted to get their own message across about Columbine and “speak for” Eric and Dylan by writing a suicide note.
Here is the letter sent to police:

If you can get spooked easily, don’t read this. I found it on the Net. this is from one of the kids who did the colorado school killings. He had it up on his web page. His original Pages is down now, and most people will not have the opportunity to read this, But I can assure you it IS real, and it is disturbing. In a time when it seems everyone is pointing fingers at video games, and music, and everything else, I found it most important to read what the doer actually wrote. It is interesting. the boy was obviously disturbed, but his reasoning is interesting, to say the least. -tom

By now it’s over. If you are reading this my mission is complete. I have finished revolutionizing the neoeuphoric infliction of my internal terror. Your children who have ridaculed [sic] me, who have chosen not to accept me, who have treated me like I am not worth their time are dead. THEY ARE FUCKING DEAD. Surely you will try to blame it on the clothes I wear, the music I listen to, or the way I choose to present myself- but no. Do not hide behind my choices. The writing style doesn’t match Eric’s.
There is no way to track the source, it was just an anonymous person who sent it to the police days after his website was taken down.
